The new 2018 Design Diary is here! The 2018 planner features a unique layout and fresh designs. Ms. Tamura from Mark's PR dropped by to tell us what's happening with them.
Hi! Mark's 2018 Design Diary is available in an incredible lineup of 500 different styles! With such a wide variety of designs and features, it's easier to find the right diary to fit your mood or lifestyle. Today I'd like to introduce my personal favorite diary planners. I hope it'll come in handy when you choose yours!
【Trendy designs with surprises!】
This year sees the launch of catchy designs that boldly incorporate trends in fashion accessories, like the large "Fur Charm" designed to look like a tail, " Icon Embroidery" with an emblem-like embroidery, and the new oversized "Big Motif".
Diaries that incorporate fashion trends make you feel great just by carrying them. It's definitely something your friends will notice. They also look great on social media, so snap them when you're out and about!

【Items designed with the real needs of students in mind】
We've created diaries and planners for a new level of user based on the real opinions of women, an "Illustrated Notebook Calendar" created in collaboration with renowned female high school student marketing team JCJK Marketing.
The Illustrated Notebook Calendar not only has cute illustrations and typos, but also features timetables and other pages that are indispensable for students. Decorated with the stickers and masking tapes that high school girls love, this diary turns keeping track of your daily schedule into something fun.
【The cat craze continues into 2018】
Of all animal patterns, cat motifs enjoy overwhelming popularity. For 2018, in addition to the popular standard "Oh My Cat" and the sweetly embroidered "Ma Chérie", Mark's has released a new "Jewelry Stone" diary with a cute and sophisticated cat-shaped charm, a feminine "Bookmark Flap" with a bookmark designed to look like a cat's paw, and other planners that incorporate various kinds of cat designs.
There are lots of unique cat motifs that can only be found on Mark's Design Diary planners. Each cat has a different mood and expression, making it easy to find your favourite kitty. Also available are cat motif planner accessories, like bands, stickers, and pen holders, so cat lovers can follow their fancy and surround themselves with their favourite animal.

【New-format storage.it with separate note section】
Our long-selling favourite storage.it, with a special slide zipper pocket for storage of small items, is now available with a flat sleeve on the inside cover, and as a new format A5 variation with a note section that can be separated from the diary. This makes it easy to freely switch out notes once the pages are used up or to change the order of the note section and diary section.
The note section can be exchanged with any A5-sized notebook from the store. Once the note section is full, it can be removed for storage, making this a great function for those who love to write a lot! The cover design is simple but still has impact, perfect for those who want to set themselves apart from the crowd in business situations.
【Colorful diaries with pages accented by illustrations and pictures】
The "All Color Illustration Diary" features pages decorated with creators' illustrations and photos. In 2018 we have launched a collaboration with COOKIEBOY, the creator of Icing Cookie. Colorful cookie photos and intricate drawings fill this design with fun. Illustrator Nina Chakrabarti, popular for her stylish drawings, also have returned with a third season of collaboration and a chic color change.
The cookie photos that appear in the collaboration diary with COOKIEBOY are actually special cookies created just for this item. These pages, designed with colors that pop and cookies that are glossy like ceramics, are fun even just to look at.
The diary collaboration with Nina Chakrabarti is as exciting to look at as a magazine full of fashionable illustrations. Every week features different illustrations, and they can be enjoyed in lots of different ways, like by writing little memos on them or coloring them in with paint.
There are probably quite a few people who think "It's way too early to look for next year's diary", but it's fun to spend time searching for a diary while thinking about the year to come. Popular diary designs tend to become hard to find by October, so start checking them out early!
